21^st of October 2025, Ho Chi Minh City – Representatives from IPL participated in the Pasteur Network Annual Meeting held in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam, from 21^st to 23^th of October 2025.

The IPL delegation included Dr. Philippe Buchy, Dr. Gary Wong, Dr. Chittaphone Vanhnollat, Dr. Khamsing Vongphayloth, and Mrs. Manilath Nalongsak.

The annual meeting brought together members of the Pasteur Network to strengthen scientific collaboration, exchange research updates, and discuss strategic priorities related to infectious diseases, global health, and international cooperation.

IPL’s participation reflects its continued engagement within the Pasteur Network and its commitment to advancing collaborative research and public health initiatives in the region.

Mrs. Manilath Nalongsak, Climate Health Fellow at Institut Pasteur du Laos, presented her project during the session dedicated to climate and health.

Dr. Chittaphone Vanhnollat, Head of the Pathogen Discovery Group within the Virology Laboratory at Institut Pasteur du Laos, presented preliminary findings from his research on pathogen discovery in wildlife populations.
