Vientiane Capital, 18th of November 2025 – On 18 November 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between IPL and the Faculty of Medical Technology of the University of Health Sciences to strengthen the practical training of future medical technologists in Laos.
The agreement was signed by A/Prof. Dr. Naly Khaminsou, Dean of the Faculty of Medical Technology, and Dr. Philippe Buchy, General Director of Institut Pasteur du Laos.
The collaboration aims to reinforce laboratory training and scientific capacity building through practical, hands-on experience in diagnostic and research environments. The partnership will support the development of technical skills in laboratory sciences and contribute to strengthening national capacity in infectious diseases and public health research.
This initiative reflects the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing education, training, and scientific expertise in Laos.
