Vientiane Capital, 1ˢᵗ of October 2025 – On the occasion of the 130ᵗʰ anniversary of the Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) promoting cooperation in the fields of education and academic research was signed on 22ⁿᵈ of September 2025 between Dr. Do Thai Hung, Director of the Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang, and Dr. Philippe Buchy, General Director of IPL.
The agreement establishes a framework for scientific and academic collaboration between the two institutions and reflects a shared commitment to advancing research, training, and knowledge exchange in the field of public health.
Through this partnership, IPL and the Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang aim to strengthen cooperation in areas of mutual interest, promote exchanges between researchers and students, and support the development of scientific capacities within the region.
The Memorandum of Understanding further reinforces longstanding links between institutions of the Pasteur Network and highlights the importance of regional collaboration in addressing infectious diseases and emerging public health challenges.
The signing ceremony took place during the celebrations marking the 130ᵗʰ anniversary of the Pasteur Institute of Nha Trang, a historic institution founded in 1895 that continues to play an important role in public health, research, and training in Vietnam.
